Terms of Business

Heart Health Hub LTD. – Cardiac Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Services

Effective Date: 28.04.2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Heart Health Hub ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") to clients ("Client", "you", or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer a range of mobile and in-clinic cardiac diagnostic services, including:

  • 12-lead Electrocardiograms (ECGs)

  • Holter Monitoring (24–72 hours)

  • Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)

  • Cardiac Event Recorders

  • Remote ECG interpretation and reporting

  • Echocardiography 

  • Cardiovascular Rehabilitation

  • Education
     

Services may be provided at our clinic, at the client’s home, or at another agreed-upon location.

2. Booking and Appointments

  • Appointments can be arranged by phone, email, or online.
     

  • Clients must provide accurate personal and medical information upon booking.
     

  • A booking is confirmed once verbal or written confirmation is received from us.
     

 

3. Home/Call Out Visit Fees

We offer home visits and call outs for clients and organisations who prefer or require diagnostic services in their own home.

  • Standard Home Visit/Call Out Fee: £50
     

  • Extended Travel Zone Fee: £1/mile for visits outside a 15-mile radius from our base (Donaghadee, Co. Down)
     

  • Home visit/Call Out Fees are in addition to the cost of diagnostic services
     

  • Clients will be advised of the applicable home visit fee at the time of booking or quotation for organisations.
     

 

4. Same-Day Call-Out Services

Same-day diagnostic services can be arranged, subject to availability.

  • Same-Day Call-Out Fee: £50
     

  • This is in addition to the standard service and home visit fees
     

  • Applies to requests made and fulfilled on the same calendar day
     

  • Cancellations within 2 hours of the scheduled time will incur the full same-day call-out fee
     

 

5. Fees and Payment

  • A detailed price list is available upon request
     

  • All fees are quoted in GBP and inclusive of VAT (where applicable)
     

  • Payment terms: Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed
     

  • Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit card, cash or secure online payment
     

Late Payments: May incur administrative fees for collection

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time
     

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at 50% of planned appointment
     

  • No-shows will be charged the full fee for the booked service, including any applicable visit or call-out fees
     

 

7. Clinical Responsibility

  • Our services are diagnostic in nature and do not replace the clinical care of a physician/Doctor
     

  • All recordings and results are reviewed by qualified Clinical Scientists, Cardiac Physiologists and/or consultant cardiologists (service dependent)
     

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring results are communicated to their GP or referring clinician, unless we are instructed to do so.
     

 

8. Liability

  • We shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss resulting from the use of our services
     

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question
     

 

9. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • We comply with the UK GDPR and all applicable data protection regulations
     

  • Personal and medical data is securely stored and only accessible by authorized personnel
     

  • Reports are shared with referring clinicians upon request or as part of pre-agreed arrangements such as sending results to your own GP
     

 

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, staff illness, technical failures, or traffic disruptions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
